Hello, my name is Robert Newman, all my friends call me Mexico Bob. Welcome to
my home on the WWW. I have been involved with computers and programming
since 1964 and have seen this industry come from its infancy to the stuff
that sci-fi stories are based on. It is mind blowing, and it is only going to get
better. We truly are in the age of global communications. No longer is it required
to commute to work every day and fight the traffic and rat race at rush hour. Now a
person can work from anywhere in the world with anyone else anywhere.
I have been riding motorcycles since 1956 and have traveled extensively in the United States, but have now longed for warmer rides in the winter and cooler rides in the summer.
My current bike is a 1977 Honda GL1000 Goldwing, purchased in June 2004 with 16,388 original miles.
My most recent motorcycle was a 1999 Honda Shadow ACE VT1100T with 26,500 miles, which I purchased used in 1999 with 770 miles and totaled in Sep. 2003. My previous bike was a 1985 GL1200I, It had 152,000 miles when I sold it in May 2003, of which 110,000 were in Mexico.
I have been traveling Mexico by motorcycle since 1993 and have truly discovered a wonderful
and friendly country and made many new friends in the process. Read my stories from the road put here for your enjoyment. Bike Trips to Mexico.
Enough of my ramblings, please visit my various pages listed below and
enjoy your stay.
